Bad Moon Rising is a family friendly guild with an
emphasis on role play. We hope to do the impossible, be an
extremely large medium-to-heavy role play guild which is
also preparing for battlefields and end game pve instances
while still maintaining high standards for regular in
character interaction, team cohesion and tactics. We want
to provide a venue where we can experience all this game
has to offer.
Keeping all of that in mind, we are fairly relaxed. We
don't put expectations on your fun. There will be no
mandates to pvp, do end game content, give away items or
help others level, etc. Some of us do, but never ever have
we asked for or expected it. We want you to have fun doing
what you like.
We do ask you not to get into Thorium Brotherhood Realm
forum drama, as it reflects poorly on the whole guild. We
do expect you to try to role play. It doesn't have to be
very good, or experienced, or every moment you are on. We
do like to keep role play conflict in guild to a minimum.
If you thrive on conflict, we may not be right for you.
Now here are a few questions to see if we fit your needs
or expectations?
We are a role play oriented guild that has incorporated
a story to prepare for end game, battlefields and the
expansion. Do you want to stay in character most of the
time?
We have a tribal theme. Alpha, tribal council, lots of
Earthmother, ancestor and spirit worship. The tribe does
not accept abrasive people or "evil" characters due to the
spiritutal nature of the story. Warlocks might need to be
involved in the ethical warlock school storyline, undead
will need to be conscientious objectors (not rebels) against
the banshee queen Sylvanas Windrunner's plan to spread the
plague, blood elves might also be conscientious objectors (once
again, not rebels) to Kael'thas Sunstrider/Silvermoon's
leadership. Does that sound like it would fit your character?
In our story, we raid places to get resources and battle
gear to get ready for a prophesied epic battle coming. In
character we are doing all we can to prepare. This is our
role play explanation for repeated visits battlegrounds and
instances. Does this sound like what you are looking for?
To have a sizeable guild we need to make sure
we have team oriented, easy going, mature people. In
frustrating situations, do you keep your cool? Are you more
likely to pass on an item when you know someone else needs
it?
If you can say yes to all of the above questions, then
you will likely fit in just fine.
If out of character, this is the sort of guild that you
would like to be a part of, read part 2, "Overview of the Tribe".
