For WoW vanilla I chose to be holy/disc after they moved divine spirt down from the 31 point talent. When they announced the BC priest talents I gave them a good once over and though "I'm just going to add 5 points to each tree' and I was disappointed. I had buffed myself through talents but my playstyle remained almost the same.

WotLK has posted its talents and after giving them a quick look, it seems I would be drastically missing out if I didn't choose one tree or another. I've toyed with a discipline build so far and while it looks good on papar I wonder if I am hamstringing myself in the healing department. I'd pay real money to get a beta key and test this out =P

Anyway, has anyone else considered their new specs for WotLK? Anyone have any advice for a Holy/Disc priest picking a single tree to climb?

******possible WotLK spoiler*******

Here is the spec I was considering

I've always loved the holy tree for healing myself. Don't have much to offer other than I'll probably go with something like this for my own spec.

OMG - Dispersion - the penultimate Shadow Priest talent. My gosh, I can visualize how Wave will look doing this. Too awesome. Must have. Just for appearance alone.

You disperse into pure shadow energy

It's just a bubble, but how cool is that?

Wow... i gotta say i REALLY like what they've done with the Disc tree.. that spec is very neat lookin' Breck.
while i've gone with a pretty straight up vanilla healer spec i am rather curious to see what kind of synergy the two would have together.

My choices thus far.
