So, I'm starting to gear Amadahy up a bit for healing, via badges. Of the items available for Conquest badges, what items should I concentrate on first for tree healing? I can't decide if I should just get the least expensive stuff first, or save for the more expensive items.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Edited to add: Currently, my count is 25 conquest badges, 12 Triumph.

The rules I set for Ritallia when playing "raid catchup" were this:

1. Do not buy set pieces that drop (with exception to things like shoulders off of Yogg)

2. I cheap upgrade is purchased sooner and therefore used longer than an expensive one. With rare exception.

Idols are good purchases, because they don't really drop anymore in the content we're doing. (Not to mention that the triumph idols are really nice and pretty much blow the older ones out of the water.)

Stuff like rings, necklaces, cloaks and other items that don't belong to an armour type are going to be shared across more classes than, say, caster leather, so there will be more competition for those.

In the end, it sort of depends on what content you want to do. Keep in mind, badge/token gear can't be sold back to the vendor if you win an upgrade in raid, so make sure it's going to be something you'll hang onto for a while, like Brecken said.
