In ToC, we restricted Veteran rolls from being able to be used on Tier tokens. Should this practice carry through to ICC?

Keeping in mind:
- We see a lot fewer tokens each week (just 2 per week until we can kill Putricide, vs. 5 per week from ToC)
- This is the last tier set in this expansion
- Some other points that people will probably make (so you may not want to vote until a little discussion has happened)

Myself, I'm leaning toward, "Yes."

I'm voting yes too, gettting them is basically a sign of being a veteran of raiding anyways our loot rules should reflect that. Also from what I can see for some people that are at or near veterancy the tokens are one of the few upgrades they can get until we can consistently down the wing end bosses.

I say yes. I can see how it may become frustrating to non veterans to be basically locked out of tokens, but that is a self-eliminating problem when 1) Those folks become veterans themselves and 2) The early veterans get their all their tokens or prefer to use a veteran roll on a different item.

I agree with all the above and don't see any problem allowing Veteran rolls on the tier tokens. Currently, the tier tokens are the only things some of us need from the bosses we can reliably drop, so the goal of the Veteran system would seem to be met by that criteria.

Agreed. Since BMR has decided to go with a "veteran" system, it should have some meaning behind it. Otherwise, there's not much point to the system.

And, as others have mentioned, there's still plenty of gear that we non-veterans still need, whereas the tier tokens may be all that's left for the more experienced folks. I've still got 6 items on my "need" list personally, not counting tokens.

It doesn't have to be an all or nothing issue, either. If we used a wish list like in ToC, then maybe someone could have three slots on that or tier tokens, but not both. Or someone can only vet on tier tokens if they have no other upgrades besides set upgrades in 25-man.

Personally, I vote yes. Aside from wrists off Rotface (that we've never seen) or the necklace from Festergut/Blood Queen, those tokens are the only upgrades I have left.

I would vote yes if it was a wishlist system like it was with ToC, otherwise it is going to be very very frustrating to those who are far from being a veteran yet. As it is I've pretty much ruled out ever winning a token, myself.
