Since we have several people returning for Warlords, I thought it would be nice to get an idea of what everyone is planning to raid as next expansion. It might be nice to have a little firmer knowledge of what people are thinking for those that are less firm in what they think.
So, I'll have a poll here, but please post a response as well that tells use your intended roll, and what class you're thinking about playing. Obviously this will be easier for some than others.
(I'll leave the poll open until the launch of WoD, so think about it fast!) |

I fully intend to keep up my current role as a healer. Most likely, I'll be sticking with Monk (Redakana) as well, since I've really enjoyed the class so far in its updated form. There is a slight possibility I would switch back to Paladin (Dakana), but it would still be for the healer role. |

Right now the plan is to make my paladin my main for Warlords. So that if we need an off-tank I can fill that role or if we need a third healer I can fill that roll.
With that being said if other people really want to fill either the off-tank role or the third healer spot, am perfectly happy just dpsing my way through Warlords
If other people are more interested in the off-tank or healer spot. Then odds are I will pick some sort of ranged dps as I know we have more than our fair share of melee dps already |

My plan is to play Brecken as Shadow with a Disc off spec. _________________ I brake for True Iron. |

But I can only select one on the Poll! I want to Bring the Deeps of course with Chasy but I want to get back in to tanking as well even if only a back up. I have my warrior a few lessons and I'll be good with him but I want to throw down on Monk tanking. I think it might be interesting to try so I'll have to bring my monk in to the fold. _________________

I voted healer as I am currently playing my Shaman but would love to take on the OT roll on my Warrior if the opportunity ever arises. I have tanked every expansion pretty deep except for PoM!
i.e. If another Tank is needed, I will gladly level my warrior first! |

Gosford as one of the main people that has spoke up about filling the off-tank spot on a regular basis. I will totally step back from that so that you can fill that roll, as am more than happy to fill in else where |

Final calls come down to Gorgrom, as he is our illustrious Raid Leader. (Descriptor to be updated with WoD descriptor)
That said, tanking and healer roles are the ones we historically have problems with. The biggest thing with them both is that we need reliable personnel in all 5 spots in regards to both attendance and performance. That is NOT a knock against anyone currently working in those rolls, just an explanation of expectations. |

*nod* the most important things for people taking the healer and tank roles is that they be there (almost) every week, that they sign up early and let the raid know immediately if they're unavailable or become unavailable, and that they are always looking to improve. Forgetting to sign up or signing up at the last minute are really nerve-wracking for the raid leader and me, personally, I'd rather take someone less good who's reliable than someone who's excellent but can't be counted on to sign up in time. _________________ Ama's Pet Collection
