Introducing:

Bad Moon Rolling

Just a small add-on that should help out with this. This add-on consists of a small dialog that you bring to being with the /bmr command. Upon it you will find a button for each and every one of your rolling needs.

To display the roller, just type /bmr. To make it easier to use, you may wish to create a macro to display/hide the dialog which can be placed into a clickable button on your screen.

How difficult would it be to add a little red X to close it? Just toggling the macro again isn't a big deal, it was just something I noticed.

If we're on the topic of improvements, would it be tough to add a little dialog that pops up when someone uses a need/veteran roll that just reminds them that winning a need roll means they can't use the option again?

OR, perhaps even better, a little tooltip popup when the person hovers over each option, explaining what items fall under this category, and any special rules that apply.

I've done a little tweaking of the Addon as denoted above:

- Added Tooltips for each rolltype
- Added recognition of 25 vs 10 man Naxxramus
- Changed so Escape key will close window

On the note of adding a X button to close the window, you now have three options for closing it:
- Escape Key
- Running /bmr again (macro or command line)
- Clicking the Pass button

I tried adding the X button to it, but wasn't happy with the appearance of the dialog with it added.

The download is the same as above. I've simply replaced the file. I may change this in the future as I add features, we shall see. Wink

Nice changes, Red.

Might I suggest, though, for the next iteration:
Changing the tooltip on the Need roll to "One *win* per raid" instead of "one use"
Include sidegrades in the offspec roll

Just a couple of minor things to avoid confusion.

Incorperated!

So, I did some more work on this. I'm not releasing it as a full 'release' of the add on proper because I still have work to do on it to get it to where I'm happy with it, but I will release it as Beta! Use at your own risk! It very well might eat your puppies.

That said, you can download a beta version of the Add on here:
http://badmoon.coyotecode.net/BadMoonRolling-beta.zip

Incorporated into this release are:
- Cosmetic changes (Its prettier!)
- Added a Standard (1-100) roll button (There may be logic to turn this on/off later)
- Added a simple Roll Tracker!
-- This doesn't have much high end functionality, it just will track rolls as they come in, and will let you clear them. This is one of the areas that I plan to increase functionality in the near future on, so keep an eye here for updates.
Screenshot!

Enjoy! Let me know how you like the changes!

Cool! I was going to suggest adding a standard 1-100 roll button, since having the rest of the options has made actually typing /roll 1 100 just way too much effort.

Well, after brief testing, I'm satisfied with what there is so far, so... out! Into the wild my pretty!

Get the latest version (at the download links in the first post). I have changed it cosmetically a bit to be more pleasing to the eye, and have added a few features.

- Standard Roll button (No more having to type /roll!)
- Roll Tracking!
-- Rolls are color coded for your convienence! They're also sorted by roll result!

Enjoy! Get her while she's hot!

Just a small update. I updated the TOC to be version compliant with 3.10. No changes other than that.

Well, its that time again, I got the bug, so I did some updating, and stayed up too late working on it... so you better appreciate it, dammit!

I've updated the Bad Moon Rolling application to 2.00, which includes the following exciting features!

- An Item Roll window for raid leaders/Master Looters

Bring up BMRolling and then just shift click loot to enter it in the text box. Once you click the Start button, it will announce it to the raid, display everyone's roller, and clear them so rolls can be seen. It additionally displays the item being rolled for on everyone's roll tracker
(Note: This is pending a check box option to ignore the raid leader, never a good idea though. Wink )

- Recognition of Ulduar as a raid instance

About time, no? It will inform you if you are a veteran or not when entering the instance and tell you how many emblems you currently have. Need 150 to be considered a Veteran!

These were the major changes, as always, please bring bugs/funny behavior to my attention!

Have fun!

Nice! The automagically popping it up and clearing the old rolls feature is going to be great. This is turning out to be a really awesome addon. Good job!
